March has been a very busy month for us at Evans Painting, we just completely an interior and exterior painting job for one of our very good customers from Hoover, Al. The customer had just purchased a second home on Lake Martin and updated the colors throughout the house. This is a beautiful lake house and is now even more beautiful with the fresh, contemporary colors that they chose. The exterior of the house had been previously painted blue but had become badly faded and washed out. The homeowner chose a “khaki” color which had a hint of green in it along with a “chocolate” color on the trim.
As you can see in the photos the colors looked great together with the trim color offering a perfect contrast to the siding color. The interior of the house had previously been painted a basic white throughout and the homeowner chose a very nice neutral “cream” color for all of the walls. The walls were painted using an egg-shell paint which will offer a more durable, longer lasting finish over a flat. All of the ceilings in the house were also painted using a bright white which also looked great and provided a nice, clean look.
